Christmas with the Jorgensen's

I'll keep the writing to a minimum, but we had a great time with family for Christmas. We were able to spend time with both the Jorgensen's and the Powell's. Here's what the Jorgensen's do for Christmas:

We start with a big dinner on Christmas Eve. We had DELICIOUS Brisket with Adam's favorite BBQ sauce (Rudy's Sause) straight out of Texas. MMMMM!  (Sorry no pics of dinnertime!)

The kids got new jammies from Grandma. Now it's time to find out where Santa is...

Then the kids do a "cake walk" style gift exchange, and off to Grandma's room to watch a movie...
So that the adults can do their gift exchanging...
Adam won the "Tonight/ Not Tonight" Pillow!- Awesome!

Then the kids go to bed and the adults stay up and wrap presents and goof around.
(Steve got new jammies too! He looked rediculous and could hardly sit down in them :-)

Then off to bed everyone goes to wait for Santa to bring all of our goodies.

I managed to wake up when Santa was there and snuck up on him to get a picture. The kids were SO excited to see him at Grandma's house!

6 a.m. came a little too early for some (the ones who were up all night with their child in their bed not wanting to sleep!)

Deegan was a little too sleepy to open presents at first until we told him there was a tractor inside, then he tore into it and had a blast!

Adam got his own bottle of "Rudy's Sause" from mom and dad to take home.

My new mop and hat and scarf!! (P.S. I definately love the Shark Steam mop and would highly recommend it)

Deegan's tractor. He puked on his PJ shirt, and would only let us change one of his socks to his Christmas socks, so- he's a little mismatched. Kinda cute I think!

The kids helped deliver the presents, and then we cleaned up. After clean up, we headed over to the Powell house to spend the rest of the day... more to follow. We had tons of fun for the night.

On a side note, I got to open my gift from Deeg before we went down to mom and dad's. He made me a handprint stepping stone, and wasn't sure he was ready to give it up. He helped me open it and was excited about it, but wanted to hold it himself. He has such pride in his own work! Even now, I have it on a plate stand and he puts his hand in it and says "Deegan's Hand!"atleast twice a day.
